Cookie Policy.

What are cookies
This is a courtesy translation. The Italian version is the legally binding reference. Cookies are small text files that websites send to your browser, where they are stored and retransmitted to the site on your next visit.
Cookies used by mads.it
We use only technical and anonymous measurement cookies. No third-party pixels, no behavioural trackers, no advertising profiling.
- Technical cookies: necessary for the website to function (e.g. cookie banner preference). No consent required.
- Measurement cookies: help us understand how the site is used, in aggregated and anonymous form. You can refuse them without any loss of functionality.
How to manage cookies
You can accept, reject or customise your choice from the banner shown on your first visit. All three options carry the same visual weight because we believe consent must be free, specific and informed — not extracted through dark patterns. You can change your mind at any time by deleting the mads_cookie cookie from your browser and reloading the page.
Managing cookies in your browser
All modern browsers allow you to manage cookies from the settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
Cookie duration
Technical cookies are either session-based (deleted when the browser is closed) or last a maximum of 12 months. Anonymous measurement cookies last a maximum of 25 months, in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines. No cookie used by mads.it lasts longer than 25 months.
Third-party cookies
The mads.it website does not use third-party advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking techniques. Third-party resources loaded by the site (fonts, images, embedded videos where present) follow privacy-friendly policies and do not install profiling cookies.
Updates
This cookie policy may be updated in the event of technological developments, regulatory changes or changes to the measurement tools we use. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
